Sunshine ChildAs the crows spread their charcoal wings
-She closes her eyes to sleep ready to be engulfed
In their oily black subterfuge.
Their beautiful night
Scratched out in hurried graphite and wolfs carbon
Ink bleeding the colours out of the evening and
Dispersing across the sky.
Casting one huge shadow over all
-The innocent sleepers being thrown in to darkness
For too long she sleeps
scared of the crows' ever growing span
But deep inside she knows the design.
She opens her eyes
To face the sharp face and distorted world
of silver and grey refracted light
and over lapping shadows.

There once was a time when she watched
her mot
Mama, Help MeMama I think I'm crazy

It's getting worse all the time

Mama don't look so worried

I'm sure it'll all be fine

Mama there's a secret

I've been trying hard to hide

Cause if a child lives with crazy

She goes out of her mind
